The purpose of this privacy policy.

The purpose of this privacy policy is to explain how Credityes collects, uses, and shares your personal data, and what rights you have regarding your data.

Who is responsible for processing your data?

The responsible party is the company SIA DOAFF, Registration number: 40203426084, with the address: Mednieku iela 4A, Rīga, Latvia, LV-1010.

What data do we collect and when?

Sources from which personal data originates:
When you provide them directly through the forms on our website (for example, when you fill out a loan application or in any other way);
From third-party websites that are dedicated to generating opportunities related to the provision of services, including those offered by Credityes;
Publicly accessible sources (e.g., public profiles on social networks such as Facebook or LinkedIn);
Automatically, through the use of computer tools (for example, information related to your behavior on our website, obtained through the Google Analytics tool).

For what purpose do we process your personal data?

The main purposes for which we use your data are to help you find a loan and manage your customer account. This includes sending personal data to loan providers to find a suitable lender, as requested, that matches your needs, as well as pre-filling the loan application in case it repeats and improving your credit profile and score if you already have an account.
We process the data generated from using our website and services (e.g., information about how you navigate and use our website) to improve the user experience when using the website and services, with the goal of making them more intuitive. The legal basis for the above is our legitimate business interest in improving the website and user experience. Considering the nature of the data and the fact that we use it in aggregated form, as well as your interests or fundamental rights and freedoms, these do not outweigh our legitimate interests.
We also process data received from your use of our website and services (e.g., information about how you navigate and use our website) in order to prevent fraud and the abusive use of our Services (e.g., preventing the use of the website and Services by robots). The legal basis for the above is our legitimate business interest in improving the website and user experience. Considering the nature of the data and the fact that we use it in aggregated form, as well as your interests or fundamental rights and freedoms, these do not outweigh our legitimate interests.
To the extent required by applicable data protection regulations, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data based on legitimate interest.
In addition, whenever you authorize it, we may share your personal data with third parties so they can send you commercial communications about their products or services.
When the processing of personal data is based on your consent, it can be withdrawn at any time by clicking on the "unsubscribe" / "opt-out" link at the end of each email. Please note that withdrawing consent does not affect the legality of the data processing carried out before the withdrawal.
We may also process your personal data to comply with legal obligations (for example, our obligation to share your personal data with relevant authorities and to comply with anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing obligations). This type of processing is based on our legal obligation to inform.

What is automated decision-making?

Automated decision-making as part of our Service: Considering your preferences for taking out a loan with us and the personal information you provided by completing the loan application form, the information obtained from the sources listed above, and your history of using our Services (e.g., if you were granted a loan and who granted it), we prepare or complete your credit profile and "score," subsequently allocating the results obtained to your Account. We compare your profile with the conditions set by each Creditor for their clients, and based on the results of this comparison, we provide you with the Creditor or list of Creditors with whom you have the highest chances of actually receiving the loan, under the terms you have preselected. Our results are based on the information we received from Creditors regarding the conditions they offer their clients, as well as the best estimate of the previous behavior of the Creditors. As a result of our comparison, the list of potential creditors may be very large, or, on the contrary, it may contain only one or no potential creditors at all, depending on how many creditors, according to our best estimate, would be willing to lend to people with profiles similar to yours. To understand what each Creditor's preferences are based on, please refer to the Creditor's privacy policies.
The results of our profiles cannot be considered as affecting your chances of obtaining a loan. You have the right to obtain human intervention, express your point of view, and challenge the decision.
